and this Luchtsingel is one of them!

The plan is to make a path from Rotterdam central

station to the Mini Mall, check out!!!

ロッテルダムという隣町の都市計画のお話

１００案の中から選ばれた５案から市民の投票によって選ばれる一案には
５百万ユーロ（約５億円）でそれを実行する権利を得るとか

このLuchtsingelは最後に残った５案のうちの一つで、
仲良くさせてもらってるエスプレッソバー「ロカール」が
入っているMini Mallまでをセントラルの駅から遊歩道で結ぶという案
ロカールのオーナーギドいわく、このエリアは昔ロッテルダムの中心でハート
だったところ、今では大きな道路や線路によっていまの中心地から分断されてしまい、
アクセスもわるいが、もしもこの遊歩道が実現すれば、駅からのアクセスが良くなり
このエリアが再びロッテルダムのハートとして蘇る事ができるかも。

という事でロッテルダムの市民の皆様Luchtsingelに清き一票を

She is a japanese artist staying at school for short period.
And Her time in Paris was to meet friends again
from long time ago, and she met 7 friends in paris!

so I made a japanese character of human into
Eiffel tower with friend around.

This is a stamp for a friend in Paris.

He have a very nice relax music label by him self,

called:CANYA REIAL

which means Sugarcane Royal

have produced some musics with Canadian music production.

I visit his place in paris at his birthday by accident
We have a very good talk and he told me about his label
which he has been playing all the time
I just loved it from the beginning
so we started to discus how can I make a stamp
out of his music.

We came up with kind of a logo for his label

We met for first time in a SPECIAL PLACE in paris

it was a night, very special experience and we talked a lot...

and since then he is one of my great supporter for my projects.

パリの友人の為のスタンプ

彼の名前はバティス
彼は音楽家であり思想家でありパリに住む
フランス生まれのフランス人だ

彼とパリで初めて会ったのは初めてパリを訪れたときで
（正確に言うと三回目だが、以前の二回は地下鉄で通過しただけなので
とてもパリを訪れたとは言えないだろう）

それ以来彼は僕のプロジェクトの助言者でありサポーターだ

そのとき彼ともう一人の友人にパリの地下に案内してもらった
郊外のマンホールをこじ開けて、アクセスするその世界は
音がない、都市の中心に存在する巨大な空間で
長い年月を果て作られた自然の様な静寂な空間だった

そして彼は自分で音楽も作る
カナダの音楽プロダクションとともにCDもリリースし
フェスティバルなどあるとカナダのフェスに呼ばれる様な感じだ

前回パリに訪れた際、彼の家に行くとたまたま彼の誕生日
いつもの様に話し込むと、そのあいまで彼が自分のレーベルの
話をしてくれた、その話の中で生まれたのがこのスタンプだ

OPTIONS! | Working on progress

Contemporary department store OPTIONS! ask me to create
a wall paint of a blossom for an opening coming on this Thursday.
The opening is about official launch of The Flat table design by japanese
architect Jo Nagasaka, so will be japanese theme going on during the opening.

The wall at the store is quite rough, so this time the stamp is made by soft material,
I hope it going to work...

I will be at OPTIONS! tomorrow from afternoon to paint a wall, so
pop by if you are around, you can see me straggling with a wall:)

VAVI | two large stamps for exterior

ONE STAMP has been quiet since new year and yes,

I just came back from japan and now starting up the 2012!

here is a project from japan...

I always go a hair dresser when I go back to Kumamoto in Japan.

The place is called Hair design VAVI and the owner became a good friend and he ask me to

create something for the place when I visit last time, so after I came back to holland

I decided to make two scissors stamps with a drawing which you see on the picture.

The idea is to create two letter "V" and "I" to write "VAVI"

At this time, he also ask me to create something for outside, also mention a problem

is that the place does not recognized as a hair dresser in the night, so I decided to make

same scissors stamps in large scale for exterior.

熊本に帰ると必ず美容室「VAVI」で髪を切ってもらいます。

オーナーとも仲良くさせてもらっていて、前回訪れた時「美容室の為に何か」

とオーダーを頂いたので二つのハサミのスタンプを作り、ポスターを制作しました。

開いたハサミと閉じたハサミ、組み合わせるとVAVIになるというのがアイデアです。

今回の帰国で訪れたとき、外用に何か出来ないかと相談をうけました。

一つの問題は夜間外観が「美容室」に見えにくい事。

そこで、以前に作ったハサミのスタンプを外壁用に大きく制作する事にしました。

It was very nice day because it was a very nice
weather in the day of Christmas Ball at Mini Mall.

Actually it was not many people on the last day,
maybe because it was christmas eve, or because Mini mall
is new and the event is the first time, who knows.

After the Sinterklaas, people are busy preparing
for christmas and we are also decorating our house.

This is something I found a street and somehow
have a christmas feeling, so I made into stamp.

When I brought this to LOKAAL, no one have clue
what is it, yes it a pine cone and you don't see
much drawing from this angle:)

オランダではシンタクラースの後、クリスマスの飾り付けがはじまります。
僕らも今年はクリスマスの飾り付けをしています。

先日道で松ぼっくりを拾ったので、スタンプにする事にしました。
普段このアングルからの松ぼっくりの絵を見る事はなかなかないので
ロカールに持って行った際、これが何かは皆さん分かりませんでした。

The blog was quiet for while because
I was very busy for few weeks, actually making more
stamps than ever, but less post on the blog...
so here I am try to come back online:)

Stamps for a friend in Paris,

She have a loverly boy JOSEPH who about going to school
and she need to write his name on everything.
So, see ask me to create a stamp of his name, then thought
nice to have a face next to it, so people can see it.

I made two faces one if for now and the other is bit later
looks little bit grow up.

パリに住んでる友人の為のスタンプ

彼女にはジョセフという男の子がいて、学校に行き始めた彼の持ち物に

彼女は名前を書かなくてはいけません、そこで、彼の名前と顔のスタンプを

作る事にしました、顔が付いているので誰のだかすぐ分かります。

ちなみに顔のスタンプは二種類、今のかおと少し大人になった時のかお。

下の写真はその友人から届いたもの。

僕たちは彼女の事を勝手に目利きと呼んでます。

スタンプの使い方も素敵、さすがあやちゃん。

Today was the last day for the exhibition at Lokaal,

so we invite a multinational band NiCad from den haag.

Unfortunately it was a lot of rain in the morning,

not much people when the live started, but has very good

atmosphere and I really really enjoyed the live with friends.

本日はワンスタンプの展示会最終日だったのでデンハーグより

バンド・ニカドにお願いしてアコースティックのライブをやってもらいました。

残念ながら、午前中はげしく降った雨のせいでライブが始まった時は

お客さんはちょっと少なかったけど、とっても良い雰囲気で

友人達ととても素敵な時間を過ごす事が出来ました、ニカドどうもありがとう！

A memory of the tree

A stamp for a friend of mother's birthday present.

About a month ago...

She became 60 and my friend invite to this big party!

I wanted offer a stamp as a present for her, so we had

a little interview about it during the party.

She like to draw nature, piece of leafs, glass and she

told me about her favorit tree in a garden and we thought

nice to create a stamp based on a piece from the tree

for a memory of the tree.

友人のお母さんの６０歳の誕生日プレゼント

一ヶ月ぐらい前、友人が母親の６０歳の誕生日に招待してくれました。

伺った際、誕生日のプレゼントでスタンプを作らせてくれないかと

お願いし、インタビューをする事に。

自然のものをモチーフに絵を描く事の好きな彼女、庭に生えている一本の木が

とても気に入っていて、その思いでに木の一部をスタンプにしてくれないかと

いうことになりました。

This is for a former colleage,

We alway had a good discussion about life (not design) since I met him,
my favorit sentence I got from him is:

“Thing happen to you
in your life is
lessen you learn”

he have a great sense in his way of thinking and I believe he is

the designer born as a designer.

Some days ago, he ask me to create stamp which everything up to me
so I took some time to not think until I came up something for him.
and I came up with this Mooi! stamp.

Mooi is a word for cool, collect me if I'm wring...

Actually I always thought his family name is Mooi
so I first thought I will make a stamp says Mooi but then
I realized that his name is Mooij so I decided to play with the mark "!"
then it looks like Mooi!

it is still in my desk and hope he like it:)

以前の会社の同僚の為のスタンプ

彼とは初めて会った時から意気投合し、よく人生について話をしていました。

デザインの話はほとんどした事ないけれど（笑）

彼の言葉で僕のお気に入りは...

「あなたの人生に起こる事はあなたが学ばなくてはならない課題」

とても的確な意見と考え方の持ち主で、彼は僕の知ってる

数少ないデザイナーとして生まれたデザイナーです。

ある日彼がスタンプを、僕のお任せでたのんでくれたので

何かを思いつくまで考えず待つ事にしました。

それで思いついたのはこのMooi!スタンプ。

Mooiとはオランダ語で「かっこいい」や「かわいい」といった意味

彼の名字はMooijだったので、！のマークをちょっといじって

一見Mooi!と見えるスタンプを作りました。

まだ僕の手の元に、さてさて喜んでくれればいいけど。

BIOSHOT

We hope you enjoyed the opening!

This time I would like to share about making of the opening/exhibition.

This is one of snack called BIOSHOT we created for the opening.

Theme of snacks was "dry fruit" and we always like a

combination of cranberry and mild chocolate eat together

so we bring it into a menu.

We came up with this holding to be easy to eat two at same time.

The holing is coms from japan used to be wrap a medicine.

We first called ONE SHOT, but rob came up with a name

BIO SHOT, wonderful!

it was some home work as you can see...

展示会のオープニング皆さん楽しんで頂けたら幸いです。

今回はちょこっとだけ舞台裏

オープニングの時に出したスナックのひとつ「ビオショット」

たまたまスナックのテーマがドライフルーツだったので、

僕たちがお気に入りの組み合わせのクランベリーとミルクチョコレートを

出す事に、一口で食べれる仕掛けをと思いついたのが、日本で薬を包む

この包み方、インクが透けてもいいように中身を一度アルミホイルでくるみました。

ワンスタンプなので当初はワンショットだったんだけど

ロブのアイデアでビオショットになりました、見事。

久しぶりの内職でした、おゆきちゃんお手伝いありがとう！

A Stamp for friend of mine.

She is a colleague at last office in Amsterdam and I visited

her to bring thing back and to say hello.

It very nice to talk with a friend when both didn't see each

other for while because it so many things to couch up.

And I offer a stamp in the end of conversation.

She first wanted as her logo, then stated to talk about life,

this how it should be when we discus about making logo:)

She was talking about her way of life how it should be, it

about what she aim for and how she can grow on the way,

and by talking about it I got a image of Sunrise, it about

special moment in between day and night, all animal start

awake and it a beginning of something new.

友人の為のスタンプ

前の会社の同僚で入社当時席が手前だったり、自転車を借りたりとかで仲良くさせて
もらってた彼女、久々に会ったので色々話が盛り上がり、別れ際にスタンプのセッション
をする事になりました。

最初はいつか彼女が独立した時のロゴに〜、見たいな話だったんですが、気がつくと
人生とはどうあるべきかみたいな話になっていました。
その中で興味深かったのが彼女の生き方、考え方、それは目標を決め、それに向かって
自分を高めながら進んで行く、もしやと思って聞いてみると「射手座」やっぱり！
そして話を聞いていてふと思い浮かんだのが、太陽が昇る瞬間。
それは夜から朝に切り替わる特別な瞬間、生き物が目覚める瞬間、そして新しい始まり。

An Identity project for a friend of mine.

He is architecture model maker based on Amsterdam and his
company called Studio KU+.
We change almost everything and We decided to use a stamp
for his back of the business card.

He has "+" in his name of the company because he always work
with an architect and I thought would be nice to add some word to complete sentence which add personal touch, so we came up with
few funny ones like, KU+ Unbreakable blade, KU+ I love glueing
and KU+ You is my favorite.

友人の為のロゴとその他もろもろ。

アムステルダムで建築模型を専門で作る友人Studio KU+の為にロゴを制作しました。

そして、その名刺にスタンプを使ったアイデアを使用しました。

彼は仕事がら常に建築家とのコラボレーションになるため＋（プラス）の文字が

社名に入っています、そこで名刺のロゴの隣に簡単な文書をスタンプで付け加える事で
一つ一つに違いを作り、渡したりもらったりするのが楽しくなる様なものにしました。
文章はUnbreakable blade（折れない刀）とかI love glueing（接着剤が好き）とか
ちょっと変わったものを全部で７種類、僕のお気に入りはyou。

bring at least 2 books (agenda and sketchbook) and I did not quite understand how to use agenda so I decided not use it.

Instead, I make an agenda in my sketchbook on first few pages.
because when I need it, I always need my sketchbook.

And it already have an format since I use same sketchbook
all the time, so I made the agenda stamp.

今までにない反復作業

スケジュールは、スケッチブックに書くのでスケジュール帳は買いません。

７、８年ぐらい前まではスケジュール帳を毎年購入していたのだけれど
スケッチブックとスケジュール帳の二冊を持ち歩くが嫌にり、さらに
スケジュール帳をきちんと使いこなす事が出来ず、結局手放す事に。

その後いろいろ試した結果、スケッチブックの最初の数ページを
スケジュール帳として使うのが僕にとっては一番使いやすい事を発見。

アイデアを書き込み進行状況を確認したり、僕にとってスケジュール帳が必要な時は
必ずスケッチブックを開いています。

毎回使うスケッチブックも決まっているので、自然とカレンダーのフォーマットも
出来上出来上がっていたので、そのスタンプを作りました。

Steve jobs has passed away.

I could hear his name from all kind of people in a street

even I still not quite understand dutch.

My first connection to him/apple is a Power Mac G3 when I enter

a technical school in tokyo to be a buyer.

The mac was there for making a planning document, but I just

spend whole my time to create something out of it.

I still remember that it was a moment of realized the word Design

and power of GOOD design.

If I look back, Mac gives the first connection to the bigger

world to me as a kid who just love make things by himself and

the kid/me eventually decided to became a designer because of it.

I think he did grate job because he made an object that make

my life changes to whatever direction. I think only few

things can change the life of people and I really appreciate

his approach to his own life that create such a thing.

Thank you very much and I pray for his rest in peace.

たとえオランダ語が分からなくても街行く老若男女から彼の名前が聞こえます。

僕の彼（アップル）との初めての繋がりは、バイヤー志望で入った東京の専門学校で、

その時に企画書なんかを作る為に使ったPower Mac G3、そして、それ以来頭の中は

Mac一色になり、それ以外の全ての課題をほぼ放棄して没頭した。

Macによって気づかされたのは、デザインの存在といいデザインのもつ力だと思う。

今思うと、小さい頃からただものをつくる事が好きな少年が、Macによってものを

つくる事と社会の接点を初めて見いだした、そして、それがきっかけでデザイナーと

して生きるの道を選び進んで行くことになる。

世界的に見ると彼は様々な偉業を成し遂げたんだろうけど、僕個人にとっては、

僕の人生を導く道具を作ってくれた人、そんな道具を作りだした生き方に尊敬と

感謝の念を送るとともに、ご冥福を祈ります。

We think that he always look bit confuse, don't you think so?

Ideal way to use this stamp is to use for his belongings, but
at moment we stamp on a wrapping paper and brush in a bathroom
so everything became looks like it his brand.

I got a snack from my wife's family in japan.

It a dried cuttlefish, SURUME is how we called in japanese.
It very typical japanese/asian snack that you can find many different type and flavor.

I'm very happy because I can't buy my favorie one in holland which is natural without any added taste.

How I serve is I grill a bit on both side until it start lean,
cut into a pieces and dip with mayonnaise with SHICHIMI paper.

My friend who runs Nest project ask me to
participate an event in Amsterdam

The event is call BoxXshop Calls for arts & Crafts
It is one day cerebration of artist and craft
All artists own one part of book shelf to have own shop
to sell their work in Lloyd Hotel in Amsterdam
And It will be around 30 artists

My first action as participant is to create a poster for the event

ネストプロジェクトを運営する友人が年末に彼女が主催するアムステルダムでのイベントに参加しないかと声をかけて来た

イベントの名前はBoxXshop Calls for arts & Crafts
ロイドホテルでアーティストが棚をレンタルし一日お店をもつというもの、だいたい３０人ぐらいのアーティストが集まるのでその日はきっとアーティストのお祭りの様に楽しい空間になるんじゃないかな

最初のアクションとして、イベント告知のポスターをデザインしました

This stamp is for my neighbor of a friend as a present.

One day I was walking with my son as my new habit in a weekend and suddenly I thought about visit my neighbor so I walked by and she was just arrive at home from a shopping when I stand in front of the door and told me "I was thinking about visit you today"

Somehow people thought about me before I visit without any appointment, so of course they don't know my plan but things like this happen quite often these days… Anyway she ask me to create a stamp for her friend of birthday present.

My neighbor and her friend both lost the husband in the past and that makes them very close friend.

And she showed me a letter from the friend with her original sign on it which has a initial of the husband with a heart in the middle of a cloud, beautiful.

「近所に住む友達の友人の為のスタンプ」

最近の日課でバギーで佑生と散歩してると、ふと近所に住む友人ビルマの事を思いだしたので寄って行く事に、ドアをノックすると後ろから僕を呼ぶ声が、そこにはちょうど買い物から帰ってきたビルマが立っていた。

荷物を運び込むのを手伝い佑生と家に入ると「じつは今日私が会いに行こうと思ってたの」と言われた。話が変わるけどこのごろ誰かにあいに行くとよくこう言われる、どういう訳だか僕が訪れる前になぜか必ず僕の事を考えているのだ。そしてビルマは「実は私の友人の為にスタンプを作って欲しいんだけど」と言ってその友人からもらった手紙を持ってきた。

ビルマとその友人は旦那さんを亡くしていて、そのせいでとても近い友人関係なのだと説明してくれた、そしてその手紙の最後には彼女が作ったサインが書いてある。旦那さんのイニシャルが雲の上に、そして中にハートが書いてある、これをハンコにして欲しいとの事、素敵なプレゼントだ。

This is a stamp as a little present for a mother who is friend of my wife.

The friend saw me some picture of her, very creative and
funny portrait of herself, and she did everything by herself.

Very creative person and love sending letter to friends, so
we thought nice to give a stamp she can use in the ending of the letter.

It a diacritical mark in the classic age.

細かい所ですが n と a の上にあるいくつかの四角い点。

これはゴミではありません、ネウマ譜といって友人が作曲している

音楽と同じ頃に使用されていたものだそうです。

This is for a friend of my wife.

She beautifully play a pipe organ and have some concerts in Europe.

I have to say that a pipe organ is not a instrument that I knew.
Once we are at old church in Amsterdam listening her organ and we actually
started to sleep, because beautiful tone and rhythm bring you in to a sleep but
we still listen the music! I think it type of meditation the music brought to...

彼女はとても美しい音を奏でるパイプオルガニストです。

パイプオルガンとはとても特別な楽器で、僕が知っている楽器とは
少しなにかが違っていると思います。

以前、アムステルダムまで彼女のコンサートに行った事がありました。
演奏が始まったとたん、嫁と僕は心地の良い眠りに誘われ、
そのまま眠ってしまいました。ただ、オルガンの音は睡眠の中でも
しっかりと聞こえてきていました。あの睡眠の様な状態はある種の
瞑想の様な状態だったんじゃないかと思います。

The first post in 2011 is a gift stamp for a parson in Italy who have

a brother works as a writer.

She told me about the brother and his passion about writing. And she

wanted the stamp to be use as a logo or signature for any occasions.

2011年最初はクリスマスギフトで制作したスタンプ。

First of all Chapan mart was very successful!

We worried about snow and myself if I can be the place because full of snow everywhere in Europe at the moment but surprisingly many people came and enjoyed relaxing sunday afternoon in Amsterdam.

It was nice that many people interested in the stamp project and people who interesting in doing live stamp join to do it and create own story, especially kids was crazy painting wall with totally black hands...

The owner of tea shop also liked the pain, so she decided to keep the pain for some weeks, so if you interest in the paint, go Formocha and enjoy chinese tea at same time.

おかげさまでチャパンマルトは大成功に終わりました！

オランダはここ100年で最も寒い12月の上、大雪の為、交通機関はパニック状態、僕自身たどり着けるかどうかとっても不安でしたが、たくさんの人が日曜日のリラックスした夕方を過ごして行きました。

たくさんのお客さんがスタンプに興味を示してくれました、ライブペイントも興味をもった人は自由に参加し、思い思いストーリーをスタンプペイントで表現していました、とくに子供は手を真っ黒にして。。。

お茶屋さんのオーナーの女性も完成した絵をとても気に入ってくれたようで、しばらくこのままとっておく事になりました、おいしい中国茶とライブスタンプの絵に興味がある方はぜひFormochaへいってみて下さい。

I made a graphic made out of some stamps for KurikaExhibition.

I call them a Hankography, Hanko is a Japanese word for a stamp but I just realized that it good to use a Stampgraphy instead, then it become international.

This is for a friend of mine who lives in Kamakura

where all surfing lover lives.

I'm not sure if he did surfing before he start live there or other way, it seems surfing is part of his life now. And when we talk about what makes him and he mentions his eye which indeed has a power. so the idea is he is on the board in a see and that way you can see a bit of board on his eye.

鎌倉はご存知の通りサーファーが好んで住む場所、彼が以前からサーフィンをやっていたのか、住み始めてからかは定かじゃないけど、彼もそのサーファーの一人。そして、話の中で彼は顔、特に目が特に印象深い。確かに、そこでサーフィンの最中の顔をスタンプにする事にしました。目の中にサーフボードの写り込みが入ってます。

夏の終わりに日本に帰ったときにたくさん友達にあって楽しい会話とおいしいご飯をさんざん楽しんできました。嫁の親友と食事をしたとき、彼女が言出したか僕が言出したかスタンプの話になり、その食事の場でスケッチを描きました。ちょっと遅くなりましたけど完成しましたよ。

Logo is combination of type and glass jar

This is for a friend who visit us from Japan for the weekend.

She is passionate for food and has been struggle for own style, so we had a little discussion before dinner then we came up with a brand and made whole thing within few days.

We named the brand "Grow Kitchen (It direct translation from Japanese)" She is not just into a organic food, but also preservative food (she brought a loverly cookies) and normally a food grows in a farm, but her food is grows in the kitchen and sometime in a glass jar.

日本から遊びにきた友人の為のスタンプ兼ブランド。

料理に情熱を向ける彼女は、自分のスタイルを見定める時に来ていたようで、夕食前のちょっとした話から名前やロゴ、パッケージなどが生まれ、滞在中に数日間でブランドを立ち上げてしまいました。

彼女は有機の食事だけでなく、酵母や菌を使った食事を作る事を専門としています。そこでブランド名は「育てるきっちん」になりました。食べ物は普通畑で育ちますが、彼女の食べ物は台所やガラス瓶の中で育ちます、ロゴの背後のガラス瓶はその為です。いつも友人が遊びに来るととっても楽しい週末になります、ありがとう。

This is a sample of a new project with my friend Nande.

Nande is a graphic designer from Tokyo, he stayed our place after a live paint project in Paris.

This project is combination of One stroke drawing and ONE STAMP in a day. He brought a few posters and T-shirts for paris and It spontaneously started by stamp on them.

これは新しく始めた友人のNandeくんとの共同プロジェクトの一部。

Nandeは東京から来たグラフィックデザイナーで、パリでライブペインティングの後、家に一週間ほど滞在してました。このプロジェクトは一筆書きとスタンプの組み合わせ。

彼がたまたまパリの為に制作したTシャツやポスターに、たまたま僕がスタンプを押すことでプロジェクトがスタートしました。
